Medium lemon color. Rich aromas of lemon, citrus, grapefruit, lime and peach on the nose. Notes of honeysuckle, yeast and wet stone complete the wonderful, fresh and aromatic bouquet. On the palate it is medium-bodied and moderately acidic. Fruit aromas of peach, lemon, grapefruit and green apple, honeysuckle, sourdough and wet stone.

Argyros Estate

The Argyros winery was founded in 1903, but the Argyros family has been involved in wine production for decades. Each generation has contributed to the development of Argyros wines on both fronts. Matthaios (Matthew) Argyros, the fourth generation of winemakers, has been at the helm of Estate Argyros since 2004. He was the driving force behind the establishment of the new winery and the acquisition of further vineyard land. His attention to detail and profound knowledge of viticulture on Santorini guarantee that the winery's future is in safe hands. Argyros winery is the largest private owner of vineyards on Santorini, and these vineyards are very old, even by Santorini standards. The average age of the vines is over 70 years, while the oldest plots on the estate are more than two centuries old.
