Champagne Chavost Blanc de Chardonnay Brut Nature is a purist Blanc de Blancs made from 100% Chardonnay, grown on cool clay-limestone slopes around Chavot-Courcourt south of Épernay. Vinified without added sulphites, without filtration and with zero dosage, it captures the unadulterated character of its terroir in the glass – clean, precise and uncompromisingly dry.
On the nose, it reveals delicate notes of white flowers, jasmine and citrus fruits, underpinned by hints of roasted hazelnut. On the palate, it is creamy yet taut, with flavours of green apple, lemon and yellow fruits carried by pronounced minerality and a saline freshness. Extended ageing on the lees lends finesse and complexity, while the Brut Nature style delivers a crystal-clear, laser-precise structure.
This natural, unadorned Champagne is ideal as an aperitif, with fine seafood, sushi or minimalist fish dishes.
