The Roditis Barrique 2022 from Domaine Ligas’s Barrique range reveals the potential of this Greek grape variety. In the hands of Méli Ligas, Roditis proves to be pure gold.

The grapes are harvested by hand and remain in contact with their skins for seven days in a stainless-steel tank, using the infusion method. The still-fermenting must is then transferred to 400-litre Austrian oak barrels, where fermentation is completed. Before bottling, the wine spends six months on its lees in the same barrels.

In the glass, this Greek white wine displays a medium golden colour. Aromas of orange, lemon and citron peel, mango, exotic fruits and quince mingle with an earthy undertone. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with crisp acidity. Ripe citrus fruits and quince combine with notes of nuts and toasted bread. Enjoy one bottle now and set another aside to age.

The seller reserves the right to withdraw from the contract in the event of incorrect or improper delivery to the seller by its own suppliers.
