Mit echtem Interesse an griechischen Rebsorten, an der Natur, an ihrem Reichtum und ihrer Vielfalt, entwickelte Thomas Ligas aus seinem Instinkt heraus ein eigenes nachhaltiges Anbaumodell, das die Harmonie zwischen Boden, Pflanze, Tiere und Mensch fördert. Diese Philosophie haben auch seine Kinder Meli und Jason Ligas übernommen – beide Winzer mit tiefem Wissen, Leidenschaft und Respekt für die Natur. Heute führt Melissanthi Ligas das Weingut in der zweiten Generation weiter und verbindet traditionelle Methoden mit moderner Interpretation. Mit der Erfahrung aus ihrer Familie und ihrem önologischen Studium in Frankreich geht Meli Ligas ihren eigenen Weg. Offen für neue Entdeckungen der lokalen Rebsorten, hört sie auf den richtigen Moment der Lese und experimentiert mit unterschiedlichen Gefäßen – Amphoren, Holzfässern oder Edelstahl – immer auf der Suche nach dem authentischen Ausdruck des Terroirs.
