Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot
France - Burgundy - Côte d'Or
The passion of Jean-Marc Boillot, winemaker in Pommard (Côte d'Or), and his experience have proven themselves in almost 50 vintages of white and red wines... His daughter Lydie Alzingre, his son-in-law François Alzingre and their children are in charge of the family winery and faithfully incorporate the terroirs of Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Beaune, Volnay and Pommard into the Burgundy wines of Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot. All white and red wines produced by Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot in Pommard are hand-harvested and systematically separated grapes to obtain only the best.
Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2018
A wine made from 100% Pinot Noir, exclusively hand-picked and alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels. Maturation lasted 13 months and 30% of the wine was stored in new wood. A dark violet color in the glass. On the nose, the aromas of small red fruits are complemented by spicy and earthy notes. This is followed by multi-faceted nuances of truffles, sous-bois and smoked oak. The palate has a medium body, fine acidity, rounded tannins and a long, elegant aftertaste.
