Riesling Auslese Dry 2020

A multifaceted wine with complexity and depth. On the nose, aromas of ripe stone fruit such as nectarine and apricot, ripe red apples and pears as well as tropical fruits such as pineapple. On the palate, the fruits have a nice melt and the crisp acidity completes the bouquet. Petrol aromas and notes of nutmeg and a nice medium+ finish.

Food recommendation

Seefood risotto, spaghetti with langoustines and saffron, moules-frites

CH. W. Bernhard

The vineyards of the Ch.W. Bernhard winery in Frei-Laubersheim are among the finest sites in western Rheinhessen, on the southern edge of the Nahe region. Here, the Romans cultivated figs, almonds, chestnuts, and, above all, wine 1800 years ago. The team at Weingut Bernhard also takes advantage of the mild, sunny, and dry climate and the biodiversity of the soils, combining both with their knowledge and long-standing experience in viticulture. Thanks to this terroir and meticulous care in the cellar, they produce wines and sparkling wines of exceptional quality. Year after year, Hartmut and Petra Bernhard succeed in creating wines and sparkling wines of great harmony and clear structure. Let them guide you through the winery and discover wines from the renowned wine villages of Frei-Laubersheim, Hackenheim, and Volxheim.
