K-Or
The "K-or" from Clos Troteligotte is a modern Malbec from the renowned Cahors wine region in southwestern France. This biodynamically managed estate focuses on natural viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar to produce authentic wines with a clear sense of origin and vibrant character. The vineyards lie on iron-rich limestone soils, which impart a distinctive minerality and freshness to the wine. Natural fermentation with native yeasts and aging in concrete tanks contribute to a refined aroma and elegant structure. With its deep ruby-red color, the "K-or" impresses with intense aromas of black cherries, wild berries, herbs, and subtle graphite notes. On the palate, the wine is fresh, powerful, and yet supple, with velvety tannins and a long, mineral finish. The "K-or" is a modern expression of Cahors. Anyone looking for authentic, biodynamic wines from Southwest France will find the “K-or” from Clos Troteligotte to be a distinctive Malbec full of character and freshness.
