Ghislain and Angela decide to go to France and back to Alsace to create their own winery, Maison Moritz Prado in Albé in the Val de Villé. Their 100% establishment outside the family circle was the real creation of a new winery, which is rare in Alsace. This allowed them to bring their know-how and experience gained elsewhere. The vineyards are located at the foot of the Vosges, in the Vallée de Villé, where we benefit from the protection of the Vosges massif. These mountains act as a bulwark, blocking the rain from the Atlantic  and the west. Thanks to the 400 - 500 meters of altitude, the vineyards benefit from the natural and beneficial regulation of excessive heat. In a vineyard in the mountains, artisanal work is preferred. Everything is done by hand. Since they have been converting organic farming (AB) since 2019,they apply herbal teas or plant manures (biodynmic preparations). They are an essential point for the balance of the crops. These nourish the soil, strengthen its vitality and ensure healthier crops. The soil is nourished and in turn nourishes the vines naturally.

Pinot Noir Amphora 2018

Vinified by carbonic maceration of whole grapes. Aged in amphorae and stainless steel tanks. A hint of carbon dioxide from the fermentation was retained. In the glass, a beautiful violet color with ruby ​​​​red reflections. Elegant and pleasant, the nose reveals aromas of black cherries and wild strawberries and notes of mint. On the palate it is concentrated and aromatic, with the tannins and acidity harmoniously balanced.
Unfiltered and without added sulphur.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the risk of accidental loss or damage to the goods sold also passes to the customer as soon as the seller has handed the goods over to the carrier, freight forwarder, or other person or entity designated to carry out the shipment, provided that the customer has commissioned the carrier, freight forwarder, or other person or entity designated to carry out the shipment and the seller has not previously informed the customer of the identity of this person or entity.

The seller reserves the right to withdraw from the contract in the event of incorrect or improper delivery to the seller by its own suppliers. This applies only if the non-delivery is not the seller's fault and the seller has concluded a specific cover transaction with the supplier with due diligence. The seller will make every reasonable effort to procure the goods. In the event of non-availability or only partial availability of the goods, the customer will be informed immediately and the payment will be refunded immediately.
