Winemaking has a long tradition in the region around Vittoria in southeastern Sicily. Here, at the foot of the Iblei Mountains, lies the winery of the charismatic winemaker Arianna Occhipinti, in the "Fossa di Lupo" – "Wolf's Den" – vineyard. Her focus is on the indigenous grape varieties Frappato and Nero d'Avola, which she vinifies organically with minimal intervention and great dedication. Her aim: to naturally harmonize the freshness and elegance of Frappato with the depth and structure of Nero d'Avola. Despite their contrasting characteristics, the two varieties harmonize impressively in Arianna's wines – vibrant, powerful, and expressive. Her philosophy combines tradition and innovation – past and future are reflected in every bottle.
