      The renowned Champagne house De Sousa is located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs in Avize, one of the most famous regions for high-quality Blanc de Blancs Champagne. For over 50 years, the De Sousa family has cultivated their vineyards in the finest Grands Cru sites, such as Avize, Cramant, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Under the direction of Erick de Sousa, a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture, chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers are completely avoided. The vineyards are organic and Demeter-certified, guaranteeing the highest standards of environmental protection and vine care. Since the 1995 vintage, the base wines have been aged in small oak barrels, which lends De Sousa Champagnes additional complexity, finesse, and aging potential. The chalky soil of the Côte des Blancs imparts mineral elegance and fresh acidity to the wines – ideal for authentic, long-lasting Champagnes with character.
