Matthaios (Matthew) Argyros, the fourth generation of winemakers, has been at the helm of Estate Argyros since 2004. Vinsanto 2014

The youngest Vinsanto from the Argyros winery, which shows what youth means for such a wine. A rigorous selection of overly old Assyrtiko, Aidani and Athiri vineyards in Episkopi, at least two hundred years old, dedicated specifically to this style. The grapes are harvested very ripe, almost a month after the main harvest date, resulting in extremely low yields. The grapes are dried in the sun for ten days, natural fermentation and three years of maturation take place in old concrete containers, with an additional four years of maturation in old wooden tanks.
