Georg Germanis is one of Greece's most experienced and respected vineyard and soil experts. He advises many top winemakers in this area. Together with his son Theodoros and his son-in-law Dimitris, they have founded Moschopolis since 2014. The best locations in Thessaloniki and the cool microclimate of the town around Kastoria are the basis for their concentrated and characterful wines. The wines are spontaneously fermented, no intervention in winemaking and only minimal sulphur added.

From a small vineyard in the Ursa Trail area at 900m altitude and a fragile, demanding vineyard that, when treated correctly, produces elegant and wonderful wines. Fermented with the wild yeasts, in stainless steel tanks, then ages 12 months in large barrels. Bottled unfiltered and without added sulfites.
Aromas of red fruits, cedar wood, lavender, cigar, licorice. On the palate, crispy acidity, medium body and processed tannins. Red fruits, with notes of pepper, cedar, spices, vanilla and walnut.
