The winery was founded in 1985 by Thomas Ligas, who had already worked experimentally on the vineyard and in the winery and had focused on organic farming since the 1990s. Since 2007, cultivation has been based on the principles of permaculture, a holistic approach to cultivation that is key to the viability and sustainability of an ecosystem.
The work in the winery and vineyards is done by the children Melanie and Jason, who are pioneers in the natural wine scene in Greece and produce wines with a special character in limited quantities.

Pata trava refers to the winemaking technique of red grapes in which the skins are removed as early as possible to avoid color and flavor in the wine. A special winemaking of the sour black variety because it cannot be categorized. Is it a rosé, a white wine or a natural wine?
Bright pink in the glass. The nose is dominated by aromas of strawberry jam and tomato, followed by notes of sweet rose. On the palate it is medium-bodied, has high acidity and soft, fine tannins that balance the vanilla aroma that is noticeable. The finish is long and pleasant.
