Vangelis Chatzivaritis, a former electronics engineer, started making wine as a hobby in order to enjoy it with friends and family. In 1994 he planted his first vineyard and opted for organic farming from the start. In 2007, a boutique winery was built on a vineyard in the Filiria area. Since 2017, his daughter Chloe has been making a new range of no-intervention wines and experimenting with new winemaking techniques such as pétnat and carbonic maceration.
