George Germanis is one of Greece's most experienced and respected vineyard and soil experts. He advises many top winemakers in this field. Together with his son Theodoros and his son-in-law Dimitris, they have founded Moschopolis since 2014. The best locations in Thessaloniki and the cool microclimate of the town around Kastoria are the basis for their concentrated and characterful wines. The wines are spontaneously fermented, no intervention in winemaking and only minimal sulphur added.

Spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts and 6 months in new oak barrels with fine lees. On the nose aromas of citrus fruits, melon, pear and lemon blossom. Honey and tobacco notes follow through the subtle use of the barrel. On the palate aromas of melon, peach, pear and a hint of citrus fruits. Medium body, buttery feel and refreshing acidity.
